Radio host Woody Whitelaw married his love Mim Gibbs in a beautiful wedding at the Euroa Butter Factory on Saturday.
An emotional Whitelaw, KIIS FM co-host of national drive show Will and Woody, said he felt like the luckiest man in the world after marrying Mim, with whom he shares a two year-old daughter Remi.
“Mim’s one wish was for me to not be involved in any of the organisation of the wedding which truly was a dream come true,’’ he said.
“I think I lost her trust when I suggested the idea of serving breakfast style food at the reception.
“It will be nice to finally put to bed the rumours of Will and I being in a romantic relationship. It was a one-night thing that was never going to last.
“Getting the opportunity to tell Mim why I love her so much in front of all my favourite people will be something that I cherish forever. I don’t think there is enough room in this column for me to even begin telling you the reasons I love Mim.”
Whitelaw proposed to Gibbs in 2022.
The Melbourne artist wore a white gown by Oglia Loro Couture and a second by Elissa Maree Design who also dressed the bridesmaids. Styled by Bloom’s Paul Versace was behind the stunning looks, accompanied by Temelli diamonds. Pictures were by Mimo Weddings.
“Planning a wedding in under four months with a toddler in tow has been a mission and a half, I’m just so lucky I found such a great team of people to help pull this production off,’’ Gibbs said.
“Woody’s been no help whatsoever, just the way I like it. I’ve had free range to create my dream day.
“So special to have our little princess by our side and marrying Woody truly feels like a dream come true. How lucky we are,” she said.
