JENNIFER Hawkins admits she felt nostalgic last night when she took her last spin on the catwalk as the face of Myer.
After 12 years, Hawkins farewelled customers in an intimate event in the Bourke St store.
“I’ve been nostalgic looking back on all the amazing experiences with Myer. I’ve been really taking it all in,” she says.
“I’ll miss interacting from that stage point of view and I’ll miss seeing everyone, but I’m stepping down humbly.”

While much has been made of Myer signing cheaper and younger new ambassador Elyse Knowles, Hawkins says she’s ready to move into the next phase of her life and career.
“It’s the right time for me to move on from Myer. I’m calm and grateful. You have to evolve and move forward and do different things. I’ve got some really exciting things coming up with my businesses.”
Having a family is also on the agenda for Hawkins and husband Jake Wall.
“I’ve love to have a family, it’s taking the time to look ahead. I want to have the time to be able to do that,” she says.
While Hawkins has taken her last spin on the catwalk, she will attend the Melbourne Cup Carnival at Flemington for Myer on Derby and Oaks days.
