Wedding joy has arrived at Carlton, with Jack Silvagni and Mitch McGovern both tying the knot.
Blues star Silvagni wed his glamorous partner Grace Phillips in Noosa last Thursday.
McGovern married Kirsten at Mandalay House & Garden near Adelaide over the weekend with their two young children stealing the show.
Silvagni and Phillips, who stunned in a gown by Kyha Studios, married in an intimate ceremony surrounded by family and friends.
The couple posted a wedding picture on Sunday with the date of the wedding and a white love heart.
They were flooded with congratulations, including from Silvagni’s teammates, their partners and friends.
Among the wedding guests were Silvagni’s Carlton teammates Patrick Cripps, Jack Martin and Sam Docherty.
“We’ll just have family and friends, it’s a pretty small wedding,’’ Jack told the Herald Sun ahead of the big day.
Silvagni, the eldest son of Carlton legend Stephen Silvagni and model mum Jo, proposed to PR executive Phillips in December last year.
Most of their wedding guests headed to the McGovern wedding.
Meanwhile on Saturday in Bali, Bulldogs star Jason Johannisen tied the knot with Logan Shine.
The couple who share two children, Lola and Ziggy, said I do with many Bulldogs players in attendance at the idyllic setting.
In Brisbane, former Lions captain Dayne Zorko married Talia at the up-market Calile Hotel.
Dayne and Talia have a daughter born last year and he has a son from a previous relationship.
Footy’s first big off-season weddings will set off a spate of nuptials, including Carlton player Matt Kennedy and Richmond’s Tom Lynch who are soon due to walk down the aisle.
Richmond forward Tom Lynch is also set to tie the knot in the off-season.
