As budding apprentices Brooke Warne and Jack Silvagni are keen to learn as much possible during Melbourne Fashion Week.
The talented pair will experience first-hand tricks of the trade backstage during the city showpiece that runs from October 23-29.
“I have never been before but I’m really excited,’’ said Warne.
“I’m excited to learn from the experts.”
Both Warne and Carlton footballer Silvagni will be with Redken, the event’s official hair partner.
“It’s a little nerve-racking and I’m pretty basic when it comes to hair but it will be interesting to see what goes on,’’ Silvagni said.
“I might get some tips off mum (Jo).”
Warne added: “Hair is such a big thing for an outfit, I’m pretty good with make up and fashion but I need some help. I’m loving the Redken ABC products.”
Warne and Silvagni checked out Le Méridien Melbourne which is the location of the opening runway.
A packed program is celebrating Melbourne’s vibrant and diverse fashion community.
There are more than 300 participating designers event-wide, plus over 300 retailers and more than 100 events and sessions taking place across the week.
