Collingwood premiership star Jack Crisp still had his ‘girl dad’ glow while trackside on Saturday for the Caulfield Guineas.

Crisp and wife Mikayla welcomed their third daughter, Murphy Jay, on Thursday and took her home to their daughters Lilah and Sloane on Saturday.

On Sunday he was with the tattoo artist, ready to get some new ink — his chest features the names of his other two daughters.

“Both mum and bub are doing really well,’’ said Crisp who has affectionately called her ‘MJ’.

“Hopefully I’ll be able to attend a few races, pending Murphy is travelling well and Mikki gives me the green light. I love being part of the Spring Carnival, it’s an amazing atmosphere and I’m happy to be here.”

Crisp caught up with his former coach Nathan Buckley who was also at the Caulfield Lounge with mates.

Crisp, who formerly played with Brisbane, said winning the premiership still felt surreal.

“I said this a couple of times, (it was a) bit of a full circle moment, playing against the old team,’’ he said.

“Wouldn’t have it any other way, it was a fantastic game to be a part of and to be able to live out my childhood dream.”

Gomes steps out for Mumm at Flemington

Supermodel Jessica Gomes is back on the Melbourne social and fashion scene and ready for a day at the races.

Excited to be home in Australia, the model and actor is returning to Flemington as G.H Mumm’s face of the Melbourne Cup.

“The races is always a big celebration and I’m excited to see the fashion, the trends, the Birdcage and the world class event,’’ Gomes said.

“Mumm definitely have some big surprises and I love that they are supporting the arts in Australia. This will be my first Melbourne Cup Carnival since before Covid so I’m really excited to be there again and to catch up with friends.”

Gomes, who is also based in LA, will be trackside on Derby Day in a custom outfit by Jordan Dalah.

The double storey marquee called Théâtre G.H. Mumm will draw on the Champagne producer’s passion for the creative arts, innovation and celebration with a full program of performances.

Entertainers will include Australian singer-songwriter Thando; NZ DJ duo and producers Sweet Mix Kids’ Sandon James and Chris Scott; and house DJ Nico from Melbourne.

“Théâtre G.H. Mumm celebrates a contemporary vision of our theatrical and cinematic heritage, embodied by our iconic cuvée Cordon Rouge,’’ said Pernod Ricard Australia Marketing Director, Kristy Rutherford.

“Like any great theatre, it is not just about what happens on the stage — it is the opportunity to meet friends and enjoy outstanding hospitality.”

More than 100,000 glasses of G.H. Mumm are expected to be enjoyed across the Carnival period at Flemington.
