Irish pop star Ronan Keating will perform at Flemington on Oaks Day.
Keating, a regular visitor to Melbourne Cup Carnival, said: “The sheer scale of the Melbourne Cup is something that’s hard to understand until you’ve experienced it. I can’t wait to experience it all again.”
With hits including Life Is A Rollercoaster and When You Say Nothing At All, will perform in The Park precinct at Flemington on November 7.
He will also perform at the annual VRC Crown Oaks Club lunch on November 6.
The potential guest list at Flemington has other pop star possibilities.
British boy band Take That and Murder On The Dancefloor diva, Sophie Ellis Bextor, are in town during Cup Carnival week.
British megastars, Coldplay are also in Melbourne from October 30 to November 3.
