‘I always envisioned one day we’d be on track,’ Alex Fevola says

Mother-daughter duo Alex and Mia Fevola are racing into Flemington’s VIP Birdcage over the Melbourne Cup Carnival with a new business venture.

Alex and Mia Fevola are leading the way in the beauty and fashion stakes this Melbourne Cup Carnival.

Their business will make its debut in the corporate and VIP destination, The Birdcage Enclosure, with The Pamper Lounge by Runway Room joining other elite and world class offerings.

“I always envisioned one day we’d be on track because that’s how we grew year on year over the spring racing period,” said Alex who founded Runway Room 13 years ago.

“We will also be in the Atrium and the Chairman’s Lounge, it’s a great way to introduce a whole new bunch of people to our products.”

Also part of the mini-metropolis in the ‘Rendezvous’ themed Birdcage will be VRC partners including Lexus, Penfolds, TAB, Furphy, G.H. Mumm and Crown Melbourne.

The VRC’s Birdbath Bar and Lucky’s will also make their glamorous return.

“The ritual of rendezvous is part of the Melbourne Cup Carnival’s DNA, and The Birdcage Enclosure is a place like no other to do it,” said VRC Executive General Manager Experience and Events Luke Kinniburgh.

“It has long epitomised the glamour and elegance of the Melbourne Cup Carnival.”
