Former Tigers star Daniel Rioli, Paris Lawrence set wed in romantic Byron Bay ceremony

Former Richmond premiership defender Daniel Rioli and DJ Paris Lawrence are well and truly in the midst of wedding planning, revealing some exciting details about their big day.

Former Richmond premiership defender turned Gold Coast star Daniel Rioli and DJ Paris Lawrence have revealed their post-season wedding plans.

The couple, who got engaged in June last year, will tie the knot at a private property in Byron Bay in mid October.

“The planning is fully underway and we can’t wait, we’re so excited,’’ Lawrence said.

“We’ve tried to do it as intimate as possible but the numbers keep creeping up. It’ll be about 80-100 people, a big party and celebration with everyone important in our lives. We both fell in love with the venue, it’s giving European vibes, and we knew it was the one.

“I might jump on the decks after a few champagnes.”

Lawrence said the couple was loving the lifestyle change from Melbourne after moving during the off-season.

“The lifestyle is amazing and we’re loving it so much,’’ she said.

“Daniel is really happy and it’s been an easy transition for us. The club is so lovely and I’ve been hanging out with a lot of the other girls, they’re all so grounded and really nice.

“There are a lot of elements that are like home for Daniel and I feel in general everyone is more relaxed. There’s still a lot of love there (for Richmond) too.”
