Dane Swan is back with a new podcast.

The former Collingwood player begrudgingly shut down his last podcast with Scott Cummings after the pair came under fire for jokes about sexual assault.

Cummings apologised but had his employment terminated from roles at radio 3AW and with Crocmedia.

Swan, who remains defiant, posted a picture recording his new podcast, called Swanny and Friends, with presenter Samantha Riches and previous producer Ralph Horowitz.

Sam Newman was the show’s first guest.

“Welp, here we go again. Our aim is to beat our previous record of 21 episodes,’’ Swan posted on Instagram.

“Cummo (RIP) has been replaced by Sam and @originalsmartassam swings by. 70 minutes of garbage for your ears.”

He then followed it up with ‘up yours’ emojis.

During the first episode Swan said: “I’d rather work at McDonalds for the rest of my life than apologise to people I don’t give a f--- about.”

Presenter Samantha Riches labelled herself the token female.

“Decided it couldn’t get any worse. So, like an old car on a cold winters morning thought we’d just choke the sh.t out of it and see if she starts again,’’ she wrote on Instagram.

“I play the role of token female and despite women having a reputation for being bad drivers I’m here to debunk that and many other theories in an attempt to steer the ship to safe-ish waters.

“So, strap in and proceed with caution.”

Swan wrote under her caption: “Thanks for deciding to ruin your career with us. Much appreciated.”
