AFL great Jonathan Brown has been hanging out with the Pearl Jam frontman in Vancouver and Seattle and the pair have enjoyed “a few late nights in true rockstar lifestyle”.

Jonathan Brown has had the time of his life hanging out with one of the world’s best musicians.

Brown and wife Kylie have joined Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder and his wife Jill in Vancouver and Seattle for the EB, Epidermolysis Bullosa, summit.

“We’ve had a couple of nights in Vancouver and it raised nearly $5m,’’ Brown said from Seattle.

“The Vedders invited us to come over and we’ve had a couple of beers in Eddie’s room. He and Jill are so passionate about EB and helping the cause and finding a cure.

“We’ve had a few late nights in true rockstar lifestyle.

“Eddie has played on stage and even though he’s in his 50s he was like f... it, let’s keep drinking.”

Brown has long supported EB and research for the life-threatening and rare skin disease that affects children from birth.

He’s been joined overseas with Nina and Jeff Azzopardi, whose son Otto suffers from EB, and is close friends with the Browns’ daughter Olivia.

“My Olivia made us aware of this in wanting to help Otto and it’s all about momentum,’’ Brown said.

“ (Vedder) gave Nina and Jeff a shoutout when he was on stage, there’s a lot of heavies here in Seattle.”

Brown also hung out with American comedian Jeff Ross and baseballer Sean Casey who was a guest host on Browny’s Podcast.

He said Vedder “hopes to tour next year after cancelling through Covid”.

Pearl Jam, with hits including Better Man, Alive and Even Flow, is touring the US this year.
