Drag queen Courtney Act has paid tribute to ‘gay icon’ Bailey Smith and the star midfielder has given the imitation a tick of approval.

Australian drag queen Courtney Act has paid tribute to AFL star Bailey Smith with an epic Halloween transformation.

Act kitted up like Smith at the weekend, wearing full playing gear, his no.6 and sporting an iconic blonde mullet.

The outfit, complete with one pose showing abs and a six pack, received the tick of approval from Smith — with one catch.

“Hahahahaha love this. New colours now tho,’’ Smith commented with blowing a kiss emoji.

Act insists Smith, who was traded to Geelong, is the only player gay men know.

“Can’t kick a goal, but I can serve a look,’’ Act wrote on Instagram.

“Career pivot alert! No, not to AFL — I’m a drag king now and I’m bringing Bailey Smith realness! If you’re not familiar with @bazlenka — you’re welcome. He’s every gay man’s favourite AFL player (he’s also the only AFL player gay men know).”

Act then gave a tick to “iconique mullet”, “moustache” and “Bulldogs kit” — but will go in search of Geelong merch.

Her followers were loving the choice of outfit.

“This is a slay,” commented Darcy Vescio.

Rob Mills added “Very good” and Kylie Gillies wrote “Nailed it”.

Smith is the most followed player on Instagram and only this week posted a picture of his fit body as he eyes a comeback to the game from injury with the Cats.
