Dean Wells is walking away from Dancing With the Stars with an unlikely friendship.
Disappointed to be the first person booted from the show, Wells said he “just clicked” with Chloe Lattanzi, the daughter of Olivia Newton-John.
“Chloe for me, she’s such an interesting, cool and motivated person, we just clicked,’’ he said.
“Her and I got along really well and I was so proud of her. Her dance last night blew me away.
“She did have a little bit of dancing experience, but that was awesome. Her and I are really good mates.”

Wells, a former Married At First Sight villain, said he probably struggled in the court of public opinion.
“I think a lot of people have a very simplistic view and want to hang onto some incorrect stereotype,’’ he said.
“I know I got votes and some positive feedback so it wasn’t all bad.
“I’ll choose to focus on the positives and not the negative nellies.
“I felt like I was just getting started so I’d love to keep dancing.”
