Brooke Cotchin is obsessed with her bundle of joy as she recovers from an emergency caesarean three weeks ago.
Brooke and husband, Richmond captain Trent, welcomed Parker Foxx Cotchin on July 27 after a late health scare.
“Trent is still scarred from it, it all happened so quickly,’’ Brooke said.
“We were in shock and didn’t have much time to process. It was scary and took a few days to get my head around it and I’m still getting through that mentally.
“Every time I had a contraction his heart rate was really low and it felt like my tummy was about to explode as he had no room to move and the oxygen supply was cutting off. Lucky I didn’t go into labour at home.
“I’m obsessed with him and the girls (sisters Harper, 4, and Mackenzie, 3) are too.
“I’m hoping he’ll be a mummy’s boy.”
The Cotchins, who have two daughters, Harper, 4 and Mackenzie, 3, took three days to name their son.
“We had named him Becker the night before and everyone said he’ll get called Boris so we had a voting system in the hospital and everyone had to vote,’’ she said.
“We’ve had lots of bonding time.”

BEING A DAD ‘DEFINITELY’ IN DUSTY’S PLANS
An active mum, Cotchin was struggling to find suitable activewear before giving birth.
She teamed up with her friend Tully Humphrey to create a Tully Lou maternity range.
“Women’s bodies are so different in shape and most mums live in their activewear,’’ Cotchin said.
The TL Maternity range launched today online.
