Collingwood star Bobby Hill is set to return to the footy field after dealing with a personal matter over the past month.
The club has supported the Norm Smith medallist through what has emerged as a relationship issue with partner Georgia Devlin.
The pair, who shares two young children, have unfollowed each other on Instagram.
More details are unknown but it’s believed Devlin is from WA and is homesick.
He has returned to training at the AIA Centre having been out of the Magpies’ top of the ladder side for the last three weeks. He has missed four games since round 11, also through illness last week with flu sweeping through the club.
He is said to be keen to make a return to the senior team, but it’s expected he won’t be ready to face Fremantle and may need a game in the VFL.
He posted happy pictures with his son at training to his Instagram this week, with an hour glass emoji.
Devlin has also been posting pictures of their children, also catching up with the children of St Kilda’s Bradley Hill — Bobby’s cousin — and his wife Sammy.
