Pop princess Kylie Minogue led a star-studded list of celebrities at the Melbourne Grand Prix as the big name power revved up for race day on Sunday.
Minogue was escorted onto the grid before the start of the race in her hometown after arriving as a guest of Red Bull.
The singer, wearing a chic white and cream outfit teamed with a Chanel bag, was joined by surfing legend Mick Fanning, Olympic canoe champion Jess Fox and comedian Celeste Barber as they met Red Bull Racing boss Christian Horner.
Other celebrities taking in the Formula One action included Succession stars Sarah Snook and Nicholas Braun in the Foxtel Group suite, plus a raft of sporting legends, socialites, business identities and VIP guests.
Braun who plays Cousins Greg in the hit Foxtel drama lapped up a grid walk and a look through the team garages.
“It’s my first time in Australia so it’s super exciting,’’ Braun said.
“Loving Melbourne so far and the F1 race was unbelievable. Being down on the grid, tuning up the cars and checking the tyre pressures was a huge thrill.”
The Foxtel Suite also hosted Fox Footy commentator Garry Lyon and partner Nicky Brownless, The Back Page’s Candice Warner, plus CEOs of the NBL, Larry Kestelman; Cricket Australia, Nick Hockley and Netball Australia, Kelly Ryan.
Top athletes spotted around pit lane included swimmer Kyle Chalmers, tennis ace Thanasi Kokkinakis with girlfriend Hannah Dal Sasso and cricketers Nathan Lyon and Mitch Starc.
Lyon flew in with wife Emma for a dream day.
“It’s bucket list for me, I’m such a huge fan of F1,’’ he said.
“After watching Drive to Survive I can’t get enough.”
Footballers were out in force, Bulldogs captain Marcus Bontempelli was joined by teammates Ed Richards and Jack Macrae while Collingwood captain Darcy Moore was there alongside injured ruckman Mason Cox.
Retired footy legend Jonathan Brown attended with his son Jack, and Geelong premiership hero Joel Selwood was having a day out with wife Brit after they recently became parents to a son named Joey.
The Paramount suite hosted much of the network talent including MasterChef stars Melissa Leong and Andy Allen, Osher Gunsberg, Tom Gleisner, Jimmy Rees, Georgie Tunny and Melanie Bracewell.
Other guests included Collingwood president Jeff Browne with partner Ann Peacock and Eddie McGuire with his wife Carla.
Guests at the Crown suite in the Chicane Pavilion included Karl Stefanovic, Nathan Buckley and partner Brodie Ryan, Hamish McLachlan and model Jess Hart with her partner James Kirkham.
Pia Whitesell was spotted in the team garages with her husband Patrick, while also around the VIP Paddock Club were Peter Bol, Sam Groth, Dylan Alcott, Ada Nicodemou, Kris Smith and Tennis Australia boss Craig Tiley.
Heartbreak High’s Josh Heuston, plus models Amy Pejkovic and Natalie Roser, were guests of Patron tequila.
Fanning and partner Breeana Randall also spent time at Idle Hour Vodka.
