Collingwood star Jeremy Howe and wife Kahlia are expecting their second child.
In an adorable announcement on Sunday, the couple posted a video of their three year-old son Zander holding an ultrasound.
“I’m going to be a big brother,’’ he says in the social media post.
The couple welcomed their first child Zander in August 2021.
It’s more good news for premiership defender Howe who recently signed on for another year with the Magpies.
Collingwood put a microphone on Zander before the Round 22 match to celebrate Howe’s 250th match.
The footy loving toddler, donning a jacket with his dad’s no.38, had a ball in the rooms and on the ground. “Dadda, go there go there,’’ he was heard saying. “Mum can I go out the banner?”
Kahlia, an event manager and influencer, said it had been a special night at the SCG.
Zander is often in the rooms and the winners circle with Howe, along with the children of Jack Crisp, Steele Sidebottom, Scott Pendlebury, Bobby Hill and Will Hoskin-Elliott.
Defender Oleg Markov welcomed a son Lennox in July and Brody Mihocek is due to become a father soon.
It’s the second baby announcement from the club during the past week with retired defender Nathan Murphy announcing he and partner Rose are expecting their first child.
