A DOCUMENTARY on Earthcore boss Spiro Boursine is in the works.
A four-minute trailer for the doco, made by That Happened Productions, surfaced on social media on Wednesday, showcasing interviews with Boursine and others who had worked on the popular bush rave event.
Boursine, 45, also known as Spiro Boursinos, died in custody after police restrained and handcuffed him following an altercation at the Antique Bar in Elsternwick last Saturday.

His death, which is still the subject of a police investigation, came amid reports of debts owed from previous events and run-ins with music industry figures.
The documentary, which is to be completed by Boursine’s supporters from the filmmaking community, features the promoter candidly discussing the spirit of his event.
“We are not a spiritual organisation,” he says in the doco.
“We are not an organisation that’s saving the whales or the Stolen Generation. Earthcore is really about a surreal environment. You go there and create your own destiny from it. Unleash and regret it later.”
But Boursine said the popularity of Earthcore, which will mark its 25th anniversary next month meant “a lot of jealousy” from industry rivals.
He added: “People started attacking me as a human being.”
In an interview published in the Herald Sun on Wednesday, Boursine’s brother, Steve, said Spiro was a victim of trolling and abuse on social media.
“My brother was passionate about people. He wanted to please people. That was his main driving force,” Steven said.
