Johnny Depp asked Amber Heard to cut him with a knife, court told

More allegations of bizarre behaviour from Johnny Depp have been aired in his London court case, with the Hollywood superstar set to get some support from an unexpected source.

Johnny Depp’s ex-girlfriend and Hollywood star Winona Ryder is expected to testify on the actor’s behalf next week at his libel trial, reports said.

The court made the disclosure Friday during Depp’s fourth day on the stand in London’s High Court. He’s suing The Sun newspaper over a 2018 article that called him a “wife beater,” which he has vehemently denied.

The Sun’s defence relies on Heard’s allegations of 14 incidents of violence by Depp between 2013 and 2016, all of which he has dismissed as untrue.

The court heard audio on Friday local time of an exchange between the pair when Depp encourages her to cut him with a knife he was holding.

“You wanna cut me. Cut me wherever you want. You wanna cut me somewhere. On the arm, chest? Where do you wanna start? Cut me”.

Heard then replies: “Don’t cut your skin. Please do not cut your skin. Why would you do that? Please do not.”

Sasha Wass QC, for The Sun, said: “You’re threatening to cut yourself in front of Ms Heard and you’re actually holding a knife at the time.”

But Depp replied: “I was asking her to cut me. If she wasn’t willing I would do it myself.”

Meanwhile, Stranger Things actress Winona Ryder and French singer Vanessa Paradis, with whom Depp shares two children, are expected to appear via video link, according to Sky News.

Both have previously given supportive statements for the Pirates of the Caribbean actor and insisting he was never violent toward them, the New York Post reported.

Heard will also take the stand next week — but in person, the report said.

Meanwhile, the court heard that Depp allegedly threatened to cut off Elon Musk‘s penis because he believed his then-wife Heard was having an affair with the billionaire.

Depp nicknamed him “Mollusk” in text messages, according to a report.

“Let’s see if Mollusk has a pair, comes to see me face-to-face,” Depp allegedly wrote, The Sun reported.

“I will show him things he’s never seen before, like the other side of his d–k when I slice it off.”

Although Musk dated Heard for about a year after she split with Depp, Musk has denied having an affair with Heard.

The trial continues.

Johnny Depp v Amber Heard trial: Drugs, defecation and dog abuse

DEPP CALLED HEARD ‘AMBER TURD’ AFTER FAECES FOUND IN BED

In earlier evidence, it was claimed Depp called his ex-wife “Amber Turd” after faeces were found in the bed at their Los Angeles penthouse, his London libel case was told.

The actor continued his testimony on Friday night, Australian time, in his case against The Sun newspaper which labelled him a “wife beater” in an article.

Depp denied that he threw a magnum of champagne at her when she complained he was late to her 30th birthday party.

He also denied that he grabbed Heard, 34, by the hair and pushed her onto the couple’s bed during an argument that started after the birthday party.

Sasha Wass, QC, for The Sun, probed Depp about the faeces left on the bed, which were found by a cleaner the following day, which was Heard’s actual birthday.

Depp said it was “possible” he had left a note for Heard that read “happy f****** birthday”.

He told the court that it was unlikely the couple’s dogs Pistol or Boo had left the mess, which he said was not caused by a four kilogram dog.

Ms Wass said he had sent messages to Heard with jokes including “Amber Turd” and “Amber in the dumps”.

In another text he said: “Not sure I’ve laughed that hard for years. At least the photos are hilarious.”

When pressed on the matter, Depp replied: “It was one of the most absurd, unexpected statements that I have ever witnessed in my life so, yes, initially I did laugh because it was so strange.”

The actor claimed Heard, or one of her friends, had left the faeces in the bed, which his ex-wife has denied.

Depp also denied that he had “pestered” Heard after she stopped talking to him following the incident.

‘ORDEAL OF ASSAULTS’

Depp “accidentally” headbutted Heard and painted the words “I love U” in blood with his severed finger on a mirror in a house he trashed in Australia.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star’s bizarre libel case in London’s High Court produced another day of startling claims, including allegations he took 10 ecstasy pills in two hours and drew a penis on a picture of a woman in a bikini.

The total damage to the house in Australia during the three-day “ordeal of assaults” on Heard in March 2015 was $150,000, the court heard.

Depp denied that he had told Heard “look what you made me do” when she saw the damage the next morning, which also included a smashed television, window, and the defaced picture.

Ms Wass, QC, for The Sun, put to the actor that he had used his severed finger instead of a paintbrush to graffiti a mirror.

“You had written in paint but you had used your finger, your injured finger, in place of a paintbrush so you had dipped your injured finger in the paint and then used your finger to do the graffiti,” she alleged.

Depp replied: “At first, I had used my blood.”

In a separate incident in Los Angeles in 2015, Depp said he “accidentally” headbutted his ex-wife.

Depp said he had only headbutted her in the “f*****g forehead”, which he said “didn’t break a nose”, according to a recording of the actor played to the court.

“I headbutted you in the f*****g,” Depp was heard to say before he was cut off.

The 57-year-old said after hearing the recording that it was part of a dossier that Heard, 34, had been building.

“She was swinging wildly at me, and I … from behind, as I was walking away from the argument to my office, she was hitting me in the neck, ear, back, everything,” he said.

“I turned to cover my head and she was swinging quite wildly so the only thing I could do in that situation was either to run or to try to get hold of her, to get my arms around her to stop her flailing and punching me, so I did so, as I did so it seems there was a collision.”

The court was also shown a series of photographs of injuries that Ms Heard claimed to Depp had inflicted.

However, the What’s Eating Gilbert Grape actor, said that the injury in the photograph did not match up with his alleged attacks.

“That is the only collision and the only potential injury that Ms Heard could have had, there is no way I did as she said and broke her nose,” he said.

Ms Wass quizzed Depp on why he did not mention he had “accidentally” headbutted in his witness statement, probing as to whether he changed his story once he was aware there was a recording of the alleged incident.

Depp also denied that he threw a decanter at Heard, punched walls and pulled her up the stairs by her hair in the Los Angeles incident, which caused her to lose clumps of hair.

The actor had also told the court that he had referred to the couple’s relationship as a “crime scene waiting to happen”.

Ms Wass said Depp’s former security guard had told them that if someone had not stepped in “either you or he would be dead.”

Depp replied: “There are several times when I have spoken to Ms Heard and said, ‘listen, we are a crime scene waiting to happen’.”

Depp was due to continue giving evidence late on Friday Australian time.

DEPP’S EXPLOSIVE TEXTS REVEALED

Johnny Depp texted Amber Heard’s mother saying he was a “tired old junkie” and that he “could not have made it” without her daughter.

The text messages between Depp, 57, and his ex-wife’s mother Paige Heard emerged on the third day of a landmark libel case in London.

“What you do need to know is that your daughter has risen far above the nightmarish task of taking care of this poor old junkie,” Depp said in a text that was read to the court.

“Never a second has gone by that she didn’t look out for me or have her eyes on me to make sure that I was OK.”

“My words are truly feeble in attempting to explain her heroism in a text – suffice to say that I have never met or loved a woman or a thing more.”

Depp sent the message when he was on a detox trip in the Bahamas with Heard, who the court was told was acting as his nurse.

He denied he physically attacked Heard during the 2014 trip, however, it was alleged that Depp kept demanding more drugs and became abusive.

Depp accepted that he was “flipping” because Heard was denying him access to medication, but denied pushing her.

The actor is suing The Sun newspaper in London for an article alleging he was a “wife beater.”

Sasha Wass, QC, for The Sun, put it to Depp that Heard was “effectively acting as your nurse” on the Bahamas trip.

“She was doing what she was being told to do by the experts,” Ms Wass said.

The court heard that Heard has sent a text message to nurse Debbie Lloyd, who was providing instructions on the detox plan.

“Issue has arisen again. He took the meds about 30 minutes ago,” the text from Heard to Lloyd said.

“He was so mad he pushed me and I asked him to get out. Don’t know what to do. Sorry to keep at you guys.”

Depp said that he was “flipping” because Heard was not giving him drugs.

“I remember that I was in a great deal of pain and uncontrollable spasms … if they are not taken care of immediately there is not much you can do,” Depp said.

“So flipping would be a word that is correct.”

But he denied physically attacking Heard, which is the claim that The Sun must prove to defend its article by executive editor Dan Wootton.

“I didn’t push Ms Heard or attack her in any way, as certainly I was not in any condition to do so,” Depp said.

“I can only say, from my point of view, I was in no physical condition to push anyone.”

He claimed that Heard had sent messages as an “insurance policy” and denied suggestions that he had exaggerated her drug use.

The case continues.

‘GO-GETTER SL*T’: DEPP’S RAGE

Depp held Heard’s dog Pistol out the window of a moving car while making “howling noises” and joked about putting the puppy in a microwave, a court has heard.

A blockbuster libel case in London’s High Court also heard claims that he slapped his ex-wife on a private jet in 2014 after becoming jealous when she was cast in a movie alongside actor James Franco.

He called her a “go-getter slut” and a “whore”, according to claims in the court case over a newspaper article that called him a “wife beater”.

Depp was expected to go back into the witness stand for a further two days, after lawyers sought extra time to question him.

The Voice co-host reveals ‘eerie’ COVID-19 flight

Heard’s dogs Pistol and Boo were major news in Australia in 2015 when they were smuggled into the country while he was filming the Pirates of the Caribbean on the Gold Coast, raising the ire of then deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce.

Heard was charged with smuggling and forced to apologise in a video with Depp for breaching biosecurity laws.

Depp clarified in court his witness statement that said he did not consume drugs or alcohol on the flight from Boston to Los Angeles in 2014 where the argument about Franco was alleged to have taken place.

He had said that he had been drinking before getting on the flight.

But he was shown a text message that he had sent to a friend that contradicted his statement. “I’m going to properly stop the booze thing, darling,” he wrote to actor Paul Bettany after the flight.

“Drank all night before I picked Amber up to fly to LA this past Sunday. Ugly mate. No food for days. Powders. Half a bottle of whisky.

“A thousand Red Bull and vodkas, pills, 2 bottles of champers on plane and what do you get? “An angry aggro injun in a f****** blackout, screaming obscenities and insulting any f*** who got near.”

Depp has been suing The Sun newspaper over an article written by executive editor Dan Wootton, who broke the story of Harry and Meghan’s departure from the royal family in January.

He has claimed the case was about clearing his name, however The Sun has claimed that it has evidence of 14 cases of domestic abuse that it argued proved the original article was true.

Heard, 34, had written a message to Depp’s personal assistant after the flight that read: “I don’t know how to be around him after what he did to me yesterday.”

Depp denied that he had put Pistol out of a car window or that he thought that type of behaviour would be funny.

“I can say it is a very endearing image, but it is absolute utter falsity, it is fraudulent,” he said.

“No ma’am, I don’t think hanging an animal, a small defenceless dog that weighs three pounds out of a window is fun.”

He also told the court that Pistol had eaten some hashish, a type of marijuana, which the puppy had “scooped up before I could get to it.”

DEPP ACCUSED OF SLAPPING HEARD OVER ‘WINO’ TATT

Johnny Depp denied he slapped Amber Heard after she laughed at a tattoo he had dedicated to his ex-girlfriend, Winona Ryder.

The details of his alleged drug-fuelled attacks on Heard were played out in a major trial in London’s High Court on Wednesday (local time).

The tattoo had originally said “Winona Forever” but he had altered it to say “wino forever” after they broke up in 1993.

The court also heard Depp denied claims he tried to set fire to a painting by Heard’s ex-partner that was hanging in her bedroom.

It was also claimed he was four hours’ late to the filming of a documentary with Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards because he was taking cocaine.

Depp, 57, told the court that a pillbox he carried with the words “Property of JD” written on it was “probably” used to carry cocaine.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor gave evidence on the second day of a major defamation trial against The Sun newspaper, which accused him of being a wife beater.

Depp said in court he “can be jealous” and that it was “possible” he was taking cocaine in 2013 when Heard accused him of domestic violence.

The newspaper is claiming it has evidence of 14 allegations of domestic abuse by Depp on Heard, 34.

The court heard claims that Depp slapped Heard three times after she laughed at his tattoo dedicated to Ryder.

The reworked tattoo said “wino forever”, which Depp said was a “fitting” joke.

But Sasha Wass, QC, for The Sun, asked him if he slapped Heard three times when she laughed at the tattoo.

The incident happened when Depp had “fallen off the wagon” after 160 days sober, the court heard.

But Depp said he did not “recall any conversation” about the tattoo.

Ms Wass put it to Depp: “You slapped her more than once, because after you slapped her the first time, she didn’t react, she just eyeballed you, she just stared at you, and that made you more angry and you slapped her again.”

Depp denied the claim, saying: “That is patently untrue. I’m sorry but that is not true, you are mistaken.”

Depp was also asked about an argument over a painting that Heard had received from her ex-girlfriend Tasya van Ree.

Ms Wass claimed that Depp had become “obsessed” with the painting, demanding Heard take it down from her bedroom wall.

Depp denied that when she refused to take it down he tried to remove the painting and set it on fire.

However, he said he was “definitely partaking of the cocaine” when he was late to the Keith Richards documentary filming after he had an argument with Heard.

“It was a day where Keith Richards and Tom Waits were performing together in the studio,” Depp said.

“To me, it was more important to try to fix things, patch things up with Ms Heard”.

Depp also said he “can be jealous” before he was asked about his suspicions that Heard had continued her relationship with van Ree.

The trial was expected to take three weeks.
