Piers Morgan reveals the names of royals accused of making racist comments in Dutch version of Omid Scobie’s Endgame

TV host Piers Morgan has revealed the royals who allegedly discussed an unborn Prince Archie’s skin colour after they were exposed in the Dutch version of a new book.

Piers Morgan reveals the alleged 'royal racists' named in Dutch book

Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan claims King Charles is the senior royal identified in a Dutch version of Omid Scobie’s latest book, who allegedly discussed the colour of an unborn Prince Archie’s skin colour with Catherine, the Princess of Wales.

Morgan claims both names were inadvertently published in the edition of the book on sale in the Netherlands.

He named the pair during his Piers Morgan Uncensored show on Thursday, telling his viewers he is naming them because he doesn’t “believe any racist comments were ever made by any of the royal family”.

The show was then uploaded to his YouTube channel which has 2.22m subscribers.

King Charles’ name appears on page 128 of the Dutch version of Endgame: “Even after Meghan and Charles by letter discussed about probable unconscious bias within the family after it was revealed that [redacted] took part in such conversations about Archie, [redacted] has avoided discussing the subject with [redacted].”

Morgan says Princess of Wales is the identified in the book as being the other senior royal with whom Charles was talking with.

Copies of the book were pulled from the shelves in the Netherlands after the mistake was discovered.

Markle claimed “troubling comments were made about Archie’s skin colour” by someone in the royal family, in a TV interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, but didn’t name anyone.

She has never identified the royal in question.

“Well, I’m going to cut through all this crap,” Morgan said on his show overnight.

“I’m going to tell you the names of the two senior royals, who are named in that Dutch version of the book because frankly, if Dutch people wandering into a bookshop can pick it up and see these names, then you, British people here who actually pay for the British royal family, you’re entitled to know too.

“And then we can have a more open debate about this whole farrago because I don’t believe any racist comments were ever made by any of the royal family,” he said.

“And until there is actual evidence of those comments being made, I will never believe it.

“But now we can start the process of finding out if they ever got uttered, what the context was on whether there was any racial intent at all. Like I say, I don’t believe there was.

“The royals who were named in this book (were) King Charles and Catherine, Princess of Wales”.

Harry didn’t mention the racist claims in his memoir Spare which was released earlier this year and later claimed neither he or Meghan had ever called anyone in the family racist in a TV interview with Tom Bradby, saying instead there was a difference between racism and unconscious bias.

Scobie’s new book released this week rehashed the racism allegations and was scathing of senior royals for other reasons.

He claimed King Charles was pampered and insisted on his shoelaces being ironed, Prince William was a “company man” and “hot headed” and Princess Catherine was “cold” and ignored Meghan’s “cries for help”.

News Corp has approached Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace for comment.
