‘Full panic mode’: Meghan Markle, Prince Harry humiliated by Family Guy ‘slur’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have labelled the Family Guy episode that lampooned the couple as “royal grifters” an “outrageous slur”.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were shredded for the lavish lifestyle in the second animated take-down since South Park’s World Wide Privacy Tour.
The pair “can’t catch a break” after the “savage” episode left them feeling like “they’re not being taken seriously enough”, according to a source close to the couple.
“Meghan said she won’t be humiliated like this and is desperate for a solution. They’re in full panic mode,” the source, speaking on condition of anonymity, told the UK’s Closer magazine.
Calling the episode an “attack from inside Hollywood,” the source said that Ms Markle believes to only way to save their brand is for Prince Harry to “swallow his pride and beg for his family’s forgiveness”.
“What’s hit them hardest and cuts the deepest of all is that it plays up the whole notion they’re self-entitled grifters or spoiled brats,” the insider claimed.
The episode, which aired in late October, roasted them over their massive publishing deals for sporadic content output.
“Sir, your millions from Netflix for … no one knows what,” a butler tells a cartoon Prince Harry lounging by the pool alongside Meghan Markle.
“Put it with the rest of them,” he replies.
When Ms Markle’s cartoon doppelganger answers her phone, she says “Babe, time to do our daily $250,000 sponsored Instagram post for Del Taco.”
“I shouldn’t have left the made-up nonsense,” Harry replies, seemingly wistful for his days in the British monarchy.
The episode echoes the South Park take-down following the release of the Netflix series, Harry & Meghan, and the memoir Spare, which exposed the royal family’s dirty laundry even as the Sussexes continued to complain about their lack of privacy.
It was such a savage burn that the couple were forced to respond to rumours they were planning to sue the show’s creators, Trey Parker and Matt Stone.
After the airing, The Spectator claimed the couple was so frustrated with the episode that they are now “taking it out on each other”.
“[Meghan] is annoyed by South Park but refuses to watch it all,” the anonymous source told the outlet.
HARRY AND MEGHAN OPEN NAVY SEALS FACILITY
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out ahead of Remembrance Day for the opening of a US Navy SEALs fitness centre.
Video of the event at San Diego’s Camp Pendleton, in California, showed the couple wearing the red poppy of Remembrance in recognition of the end of the First World War.
Navy SEALs Foundation chief executive Robin King cut a red ribbon to mark the official opening of the state-of-the-art training centre, West Coast Warrior Fitness Facility.
The Duchess waved to a small group of onlookers before hearing about the mentoring program Operation Bigs, for children and military families, and joining veterans for a roundtable discussion and dinner.
Former SEAL Tony Duynstee told the Times of San Diego they were thrilled the Duke and Duchess attended the opening.
“It’s quite an honour for the commissioning,” he said, adding the Sussexes had “really destigmatised mental health issues for those who have gone through military service”.
“And they’ve done that with courage and it just great validation to have them here,” he said.
