Brynne Edelsten says she’s not a gold digger as she trumpets her courage in the latest look at the new series of SAS Australia.
The socialite, who was in May arrested and charged with trafficking ice, is shown falling off a helicopter while the DS (Directing Staff) is yelling “don’t worry about your nails”.
“I am more than just Geoffrey Edelsten’s ex wife,’’ Brynne says.
“I am not a gold digger, I can get through anything.”
It has been touted that Edelsten doesn’t last long in the harsh conditions, but that remains to be seen with the show premiering on Channel 7 after the Olympics.

Former NRL star Sam Burgess is also shown talking about his downfall.
“Lost my career, my kids and my marriage. Police investigation into me. Drinking, drugs, I lost it all.”
The DS forecasts a brutal challenge for the 18 celebrities who also include Bonnie Anderson, Alicia Molik, John Steffensen, Erin Holland, Mark Philippoussis and Manu Feildel.
It’s already been revealed that the recruits are tear gassed.
“To Australia you’re a celebrity. I don’t care,’’ the DS says.
“No matter how hard you’ve ever pushed. How much fear you’ve ever faced. That’s nothing because you’re going to where you’ve never been before. To your breaking point.
“We dig so far into their souls to find who they really are.”
