Bridgerton actor Rege-Jean Page seen at glitzy Sydney party

One of Netflix’s biggest stars – scientifically dubbed the “world’s most handsome man” – has been seen in Australia for a glitzy event.

Netflix heartthrob wows Sydney

Sydney is abuzz with the arrival of yet another screen star.

A flurry of celebrities have flocked to Australia over the past few weeks, with Bridgerton star Rege-Jean Page the latest A-lister to emerge down under.

The British actor, 35, was photographed arriving at an elegant harbourside event via boat on Wednesday afternoon, sporting a smart navy blue suit and sunglasses.

Page, who shot to fame in the first season of Netflix’s smash hit period drama Bridgerton in late 2020, also shared a video on his Instagram story as he enjoyed a boat ride on Sydney’s iconic harbour.

The Dungeons & Dragons actor was a VIP guest of luxury Swiss watch brand Longines for its cocktail party at Campbell’s Stores in Circular Quay, where he sat down for a Q&A.

At the event, Page discussed his upcoming Paramount movie, a reboot of The Saint, where he confirmed rumours Jason Bourne franchise director Doug Liman has been attached to the project.

“I think that’s probably going to be occupying me for most of 2024,” Page said of the highly-anticipated re-imagining of the iconic thief-for-hire story.

“We’re going to be doing all kinds of fun, adventurous super-secret things that I cannot tell you about … But it will be terribly charming.”

The star’s career has taken off following the success of Bridgerton’s debut season, with Page’s name recently thrown in the ring as a potential James Bond successor following Daniel Craig’s departure from the role.

He’s also earned widespread admiration for his ridiculously good looks, with a study earlier this year determining Page was the most handsome man in the world – according to science.

As part of the study, Page’s face was scientifically analysed using the Greek “Golden Ratio” of Beauty Phi, an ancient system used by Leonardo da Vinci that determines beauty via the symmetry of someone’s face.

Page was closely followed by Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, Michael B. Jordan and Harry Styles.

A host of celebs have spent time in Australia in recent weeks, for both work and pleasure, including Nicolas Cage, Nicole Kidman, Margot Robbie, Charlie Puth, Robbie Williams, Sam Smith and Jude Law.
