All the winners from the 2022 Logie Awards

The Logies has officially rolled out the red carpet as Australia’s biggest stars battle for the coveted TV statues. Follow our live coverage of the winners here.

Hamish Blake wins Gold Logie (Channel 9)

After a two-year hiatus, the Logies has triumphantly returned.

Australian TV’s night of nights officially dusted off the red carpet for the country’s biggest stars set to step out at The Star Casino on the Gold Coast for 2022 TV Week Logies ceremony tonight.

After a long night of cheeky sledges and passionate speeches, the coveted Gold Logie has finally been awarded to Lego Masters host Hamish Blake. It is the former radio star’s second Gold Logie after winning in 2012.

Blake was up against Sonia Kruger, Karl Stefanovic, Julia Morris, Ray Meagher, Melissa Leong and Tom Gleeson for the gong.

“First Gold Logie in five years to not be decided by Tom Gleeson. That is massive,” Blake quipped during his acceptance speech to laughs from the crowd.

Mock-reading off the trophy, he added: “Congratulations you have won 2022 Gold Logie. As there was no Gold Logie in 2021 or 2020, they jackpotted. This counts for three. Oh my god. I’ve won one two years ago. To win four of these is...that’s too much.”

Thanking the network, his colleagues, wife and children, Blake made reference of how long ceremony had run in his cheeky address.

“I know it’s very late. The kids might be up for breakfast by now. They might be watching it live,” he said at one point.

He concluded: “If you are watching this, you’re an insomniac, but you are also somebody that supports Australian TV and we would not be here without you. So thank you to the people at home.”

The night has seen a number of surprising wins, including big scores for Channel 10’s reality TV offerings.

MasterChef managed to beat ratings powerhouse MAFS in the Most Popular Reality TV Program category, with I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! scooping the Most Outstanding gong.

The network also had wins with The Project and Have You Been Paying Attention?

Elsewhere, the Graham Kennedy Award For Most Popular New Talent went to ABC favourite and AFL player Tony Armstrong, in a sign of more exciting things to come for the busy star.
