THE Black Eyed Peas have launched the Grand Final prematch entertainment to mixed reviews.
The American group sang favourites ‘I Gotta Feeling’ and ‘Where is the Love?’ before a packed MCG and on-ground mosh pit of fans, whose waving arms at times seemed more energetic than what appeared on stage.
At one point, rapper will.i.am appeared to be looking at his mobile phone, with some taking to Twitter to question whether he was sending a text message.

But there was no questioning the energy of second act Jimmy Barnes, who belted out Cold Chisel crowd favourite ‘Flame Trees’.
Onlookers swayed as the Aussie rock legend sung ‘No Second Prize’ for his second and final song.
Mike Brady was next up with guitar in hand to serve up footy classic ‘Up there Cazaly’, giving an almighty roar matched by an adoring crowd.
