3AW and Gold FM win latest radio ratings survey
3AW’s Ross and John remain the undisputed breakfast radio kings, as Gold FM’s Christian O’Connell continues to close the ratings gap.

Breakfast radio kings Ross Stevenson and John Burns have asserted their airwaves dominance after 3AW posted another ratings win today.
Stevenson and Burns had a 17.3 per cent audience share, according to survey figures released by GfK today.
ABC breakfast host Sammy J had an a 11.8 per cent share.
On the FM dial, Gold FM’s Christian O’Connell continued to surge ahead of his competitors in the breakfast slot with a 9.4 per cent share.
Nova’s Chrissie, Sam and Browny tied with FOX FM’s Fifi, Fev and Byron in second place again, with an 7.8 per cent share, a 0.5 drop from March’s survey.
Triple M’s Hot Breakfast with Eddie McGuire and Luke Darcy, had a 5.2 per cent share.
Smooth FM’s Mike Perso and Jennifer Hansen posted 7.1 per cent, followed by Polly Harding and Jason Hawkins on 6.8 per cent.
3AW’s Tom Elliott won the Drive slot with an 11.9 per cent share.
Nova’s Kate Ritchie, Marty Sheargold and Tim Blackwell dropped 1 per cent to 10.3 but remained ahead of Smooth, Fox, Gold, KIIS and Triple M.
It is the second radio survey for 2020.
