Fresh-faced synth wizard G-Flip goes under the Cahill Grill
FRESH-faced synth wizard G-Flip recounts an icky early memory and pays tribute to her drum teacher — Mikey Cahill gets the details.
SHE was nowhere, now she’s starting to be everywhere. She is G-Flip. The Melbourne synth-pop singer disseminated About You two months ago. In this metrics-based era, I must mention the clip has rack-a-dacked nearly 320,000 views. See her on tour in the next month, motherflippers.

Career Plan B?
When I was 14 years old, I told my mum I wanted to tour the world as a drummer and she told me I should go study to be a teacher as a back-up plan. I got really pissed off and didn’t talk to her for a day because I was so pissy she thought I should have a back-up plan.
