What's the point of these Liberals?
The Morrison Government is stalling on a visa to Milo Yiannopoulos yet gives one to this man:
An Egyptian sheik touring Australian mosques has mocked the September 11, 2001, and Charlie Hebdo terror attacks as 'comedy films' and repeatedly denounced Jews and Christians in social media posts and sermons.
Sheik Omar Abdel Kafi — who is in Australia on a week-long speaking tour — told supporters in 2015 that Muslims were not involved in attacks on French magazine Charlie Hebdo and the World Trade Centre in New York.
Meanwhile the Immigration Department has been stalling for weeks, even months, on a visa for Milo Yiannopoulos.
Worse, the first reason it gives for objecting to Milo's visit is that the Left has violently attacked him. In other words, the more violent the Left attacks him, the more likely the Immigration Department is to help them to stop him speaking.
This is how a weak Liberal government aids the enemies of free speech and of the Liberals themselves.
From the Immigration Department's letter to Milo, warning why it is likely to ban him:
In the event the person were allowed to enter or to remain in Australia, there is a risk that the person would:
(iv) incite discord in the Australian community or in a segment of that community;
• Despite the locations of your previous appearances being withheld by the organisers until 24 hours prior to the events, there were significant protests at both the Sydney and Melbourne events. The protest at the Melbourne event involved violence between those protesting and your supporters. You were issued with a bill of $50,000 by Victoria Police for the cost of policing your event.
Just think the Department of Immigration as the bureacratic arm of Antifa and you won't go far wrong.
