 The Gold Coast’s  Dale Egan is making bank as an adult star but he says there’s more to him than his racy internet image. 
Who is the real  Dale Egan?
Egan says he felt like a “loser” for most of his life and grew up as a skinny kid in Tweed and on the Gold Coast, where he copped his “fair share of bullying”.
He was an awkward teen
The 31-year-old revealed to the Bulletin he struggled with chronic depression for most of his life, was “completely broke most of the time” and left school at 14.
A combination of reaching “a massive low point” and an appetite for drugs culminated in a violent home invasion that landed him behind bars.
He's had rock bottoms
Swearing to never return to jail, Egan says he "spent a lot of time in there practising self development, manifestation and reflection.”
Egan is also a practising Christian who listens to his favourite religious hits on the way to the gym and loves his mum.
He's God-fearing
While he doesn’t go to church, he believes in God and prays every day. He says he knows what he does for a living is a sin.
These days, Egan cashes in close to a million dollars a year creating adult content on the subscription platform OnlyFans.
Finding his calling
He got his break while working as a bouncer in Coolangatta in 2012 after a "flirty" chance encounter with an adult star.
That meeting put him on the path to becoming one of the top 0.2 per cent OnlyFans. But how did his first day shooting adult content go?And what are the downsides of his career?
