THE man dubbed the Candyman 2.0 has admitted to doing burnouts at a car meet on the northern Gold Coast.
Flamboyant businessman Troy Kenneth Williams pleaded guilty in the Southport Magistrates Court on Wednesday to driving without due care and attention - and making too much smoke.
The incident relates to a car meet on Siganto Drive, Helensvale on November 10, 2019.
Another man, Dylan Brandon, was charged with doing a burnout on his Harley-Davidson at the same event, which attracted about 200 people.
Williams was arrested in hotel quarantine in January this year after moving to the Sunshine State. He was sporting his signature bleached blonde hair and dark beard and wore a shiny suit jacket when he attended court on Wednesday.
His lawyer Blake Fraser, of Fraser Lawyers, asked for the matter to be adjourned until next week so Williams could complete the traffic offenders program. Williams will be sentenced on Thursday, June 9.

Outside of court Williams recorded a video from his stationary car which he posted online.
“In court still going from the Black Diamond open day. It’s so f***ing draining,”he said. Williams also gave a “shout out” to his lawyer.
“If anyone is thinking about doing silly things, just be prepared for f***ing consequences,” he said.
“This is draining - it’s nearly two years ago.”
Williams made his fortune with his custom car business Eye Candy Motorsports and clothing brands. Williams styles himself as Troy Candy on social media with his Instagram account attracting more than 158,000 followers.
He is well-known for his online antics, regularly posting videos of his extravagant party lifestyle, attractive women and hot cars.
Earlier this week Williams posted a video to Instagram urging people to “be kind to one another” during the Melbourne lockdown.
