Emergency services were called to two house fires on the Gold Coast, a day after a fire at a Gold Coast home left three hospitalised.
Fire crews attended a house fire at Merrimac about 11am today followed by a unit fire at Compass Dr, Biggera Waters about 1.50am.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed no one was injured or taken to hospital.

It comes after three members of a Gold Coast family were taken to hospital after an explosion at their Parkwood home yesterday.
A man was reported to be in a serious condition with burns to the face when he was taken by paramedics, while his wife and son were in a stable condition after suffering from smoke inhalation.
Queensland Fire Service sent three crews to the property after a reported explosion at 9.15am.
The crews were able to control a fire, located in an office room, by 9.23am.
Paramedics arrived to the scene on Castle Rock St a short time later, treating the three people at the home before rushing them to the nearby Gold Coast University Hospital.
Kaye Brown, who lives across the road from the affected house, said her husband heard two bangs before he rang triple 0.
“I couldn’t see any flames, it was all black,” she said.
“You always worry for the safety of the people in there and if the fire will spread.”
The helpful neighbours came to the aid of the three residents and looked after their dog Henry.

“My husband had to put the hose on the father’s face because it was just black from the soot,” Ms Brown said.
Southport fire station officer Philip Tunbridge said the explosion sound from the premises was most likely from a window impacted by the extreme heat inside the building and when the crews arrived all people from the house were outside.
The office room where the fire broke out is located halfway down the house and according to Mr Tunbridge was “destroyed”, while the rest of the house has “a fair bit of damage”.
“The son was working to extinguish the fire when we arrived,” Mr Tunbridge said.
“He had a garden hose on the fire.”
