Gold Coast crime: Nerang man charged with drug and weapon offences after Broadbeach bust
Police say they uncovered a haul of drugs and weapons at a Gold Coast unit complex after responding to a tip-off about a stolen item.

Police allegedly uncovered a haul of drugs and weapons after responding to reports a stolen credit card was used to pay for Glitter Strip accommodation.
Authorities responded to the suspicious activity at a Surf Parade unit complex at Broadbeach about 3.30pm Monday.
When officers arrived they allegedly found three firearms, ammunition, a silencer, knife, Gamma Hydroxybutyric Acid (GHB), 895 grams of cannabis, pipes and several mobile phones at the unit complex.
A Nerang man, 31, has since been charged with three counts of unlawfully possessing a weapon and one count each of fraud, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing drug utensils and use thing to forge document.
He is due to appear at Southport Magistrates Court on July 27.
