A WOMAN who crashed a stolen BMW and then pulled a knife on a man who stopped to help is still on the run.
It is alleged a woman in her 20s was driving a stolen grey 2015 BMW 318i sedan eastbound on Smith St, Gaven about 9.30am when it collided with a tree and a concrete barrier causing the car to flip and land on its roof.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said a 55-year-old Ashmore man in a ute stopped to help the woman when she allegedly pulled a knife from her duffle bag and demanded he drive.

She said the man drove to the Smith St and Pacific Pines Boulevard intersection where the woman gotout of the car.
“Police attended and extensively patrolled the area but were unable to locate the woman,” she said.
“She is described as being in her mid-20s, with long black hair and was wearing all grey and carrying a duffle bag at the time of the incident.
“The BMW was (allegedly) stolen around 3.15pm on July 12 from a residence on Deloraine Dr, Springwood.”
Investigations continue.

POLICE are on the hunt for a woman accused of crashing a stolen BMW and fleeing the scene.
Emergency services were called to a reports a grey BMW had crashed onto its roof on Smith St, Pacific Pines about 9.41am on Thursday.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the woman allegedly fled the scene after being picked up by another vehicle. Details of that vehicle have not been released.
She said the alleged stolen BMW has been towed and investigations continued.
