AN Instagram influencer, a former prize-fighter, a mortgage broker and an apprentice carpenter don’t seem to have much in common except these Gold Coasters were all busted for supplying drugs.

From the methamphetamine queenpin who dealt up to $57,000 of ice weekly to a Chilean international who tried to sell cocaine to undercover police, these drug peddlers are paying the price.

HIGH-FLYING Gold Coast businessman George Boulos sold cocaine to women and prostitutes in exchange for sexual favours during his drug trafficking from his own office.

The mortgage broker was unaware police had bugged his Southport office with cameras and microphones to reveal the lucrative trade he shared with associates over six months in 2016.

Brisbane Supreme Court was told in March how the broker’s “stupidity” caused him severe reputational and financial damage as he was handed a head sentence of five years’ jail.

JASON JT Trouchet was jailed in March for supplying dangerous drugs, two years after the former prize-fighter was released from prison for a violent attack on his ex-partner in which he broke her toes with a vodka bottle.

The 47-year-old was at the centre of the 2013 bikie showdown which sparked the-then Newman Government’s controversial VLAD laws.

In 2017, he was sentenced to five-and-a-half years’ jail in NSW for offences including choking and assault occasioning bodily harm over the attack on his partner.

He was arrested for the drug charges after being released from prison in March 2019 and extradited to Queensland.

Trouchet was sentenced in Southport District Court on March 9 to 12 months’ jail, suspended after the five days he had already spent in custody after being extradited from NSW.

BARTENDER and Instagram influencer Mikayla Noakes was caught up in a cross-border drug syndicate supplying cocaine throughout the Gold Coast and Tweed.

She pleaded guilty in March to four charges: participate criminal group contribute criminal activity, two counts of supply prohibited drug and possess prohibited drug.

The 20-year-old, with more than 12,000 Instagram followers, was among a group of seven accused of being part of the syndicate.

Noakes was sentenced to a 12 month intensive correction order with conditions to perform 100 hours community service and was fined $300.

CASUARINA man Jed Conroy was involved in the cross-border cocaine syndicate with seven others including Instagram influencer Mikayla Noakes.

Conroy was sentenced in May in the Tweed Heads Local Court after pleading guilty to four counts of supplying dangerous drugs, recklessly dealing with proceeds of crime, and participating in a criminal group contributing to criminal activity.

The third-year apprentice carpenter first came to police attention in May 2020 when police formed a strike team to investigate drug supply alleged to be run by Jack Stuart Jones, according to court documents.

On November 20, 2020 police searched Conroy’s address where he was not present, but his parents were.

Police located a safe in Conroy’s bedroom which contained 15.07g of cocaine and $5250 in cash, which were both seized.

According to court documents police also located 6.69g of cocaine in a book on Conroy’s bookshelf, three mobile phones in his room, and a further five in the spare bedroom.

He was sentenced to a 30-month intensive corrections order with 200 hours of community service.

THE Gold Coast methamphetamine queenpin dealt up to $57,000 of ice weekly, buried kilos of drugs in her backyard, poured drugs down the sink and tried to stuff $80,000 in her daughter’s bag when arrested, and chased drug debts while incarcerated, a court was told.

The Burleigh Heads woman was sentenced on May 5 in Brisbane Supreme Court on Tuesday for 13 offences.

When police executed a search warrant in December 2019, they found, consistent with their intelligence, 1kg of substance containing 757g pure methamphetamine buried in her backyard, the court heard, worth between $105,000 –$500,000 depending on how it was sold.

She was sentenced to 10 years’ jail.

THE ex-private schoolboy trafficked an extraordinary amount of cannabis, MDMA, cocaine and prescription medication to support his $8000-a-week coke addiction.

Tallebudgera man Anthony Patrick Dolan, 25, a former Villanova College Coorparoo student, pleaded guilty in Brisbane Supreme Court on May 14 to 23 offences.

A search warrant on Dolan’s former Brisbane residence uncovered about 205g of pure MDMA in 350g of substance; 12g of pure cocaine in 40g of substance; eight-and-a-half kilograms of cannabis and hundreds of seeds; a pair of nunchucks; digital scales; $4000 cash and multiples cartons of prescription drugs.

MAN WHO ASSAULTED EX-PARTNER TOO YOUNG FOR JAIL

Dolan made extensive admissions to police: he told them he consumed an ounce of cocaine per week, which he purchased for $8000; he had consumed about a gram-and-a-half of cocaine the night prior; he had been trafficking in cannabis for about a year to support his habit; and that he had been trafficking in Schedule 1 drugs for about two months.

Dolan was sentenced to five years’ jail, suspended after one year, for a period of five years and three years’ probation.

Pablo Migue Morales-Randolph

THE Chilean international was jailed after he dealt drugs to undercover police and discussed bringing in $80,000 worth of cocaine from overseas with them.

The 28-year-old will spend a year in jail with a three-year suspended sentence after the hearing at Brisbane Supreme Court on May 21 and will be facing deportation after his term in custody.

Morales-Randolph moved from Chile to Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast three-years ago, living in Surfers Paradise while working in hospitality and construction.

Crown prosecutor Steve Dickson told the Supreme Court Morales-Randolph dealt MDMA capsules and powder to undercover police on seven occasions from June 7 to August 25 in 2019.
