AN arrest warrant has been issued for the Gold Coast woman at the centre of a viral video involving alleged stolen items from a Supercheap Auto store after she skipped her most recent court date.

Toni Maree Kussrow was due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on Monday, where she faces two charges of stealing and one of fraud – dishonestly making off without paying.

It is alleged the 43-year-old went into the major retailer on Southport Nerang Rd at Ashmore on the afternoon of April 24 and loaded two disc-rotors into a pram, concealing them beneath a blanket.

Ms Kussrow was confronted outside by an employee when she allegedly tried to leave without paying for the items.

A video of the altercation soon went viral online, with Ms Kussrow heard yelling, “Let my baby go” when the worker tried to take control of the pram.

She was later charged over the incident.

Ms Kussrow has been self-represented at previous court dates, where she has had her matter adjourned repeatedly.

The Southport woman did not appear in person or send any correspondence excusing her appearance to the Southport courthouse on Monday.

Magistrate Michelle Dooley revoked Ms Kussrow’s bail and issued a warrant for her arrest.

No date was fixed for her next court appearance.
