A woman has been cut from her car by firefighters and rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a crash involving an e-scooter near Pimpama.
The driver in her 50s became trapped in her car when it collided with another vehicle and a e-scooter along Creek Street just before 7am on Tuesday, a Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) spokeswoman said.
Critical care and specialist high acuity response paramedics treated the woman at the scene before transporting her to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition with suspected leg injuries.
The QAS spokeswoman said two men aged in their 30s were also assessed by paramedics.
One of the males was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with hip injuries, the other was transported in a stable condition to Logan Hospital with a leg injury.
It’s believed the vehicles involved collided head-on, with one of the cars landing in bushland off to the side of the road.
Creek street was closed in both directions near Village Boulevard as emergency services worked to clear the debris.
Both vehicles involved sustained significant damage.
