Police probe cases of clothes going missing from Pacific Fair clothing stores

Police are hoping these women can help them with their investigations into cases where clothing allegedly went missing from Pacific Fair. Full details.

Police are appealing for help to solve a number of alleged crimes across the Gold Coast. Anyone with information about the incidents below is asked to call CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000 quoting the reference numbers provided.

Police would like to speak to this woman in relation to two high-end dresses they allege were stolen from a Pacific Fair department store on October 1.

Officers say that around 3.30pm a woman selected a number of luxury clothing items before entering the fitting-rooms.

Police claim the woman then left the store with a $650 ‘Zimmerman’ dress and a $425 ‘Aje’ dress without making an attempt to pay for the items.

HEADBAND HUNT

A similar incident saw a dress and headband allegedly go missing from another Pacific Fair retailer on September 22.

Police say that just before 5pm a woman visited the store and selected a $154 ‘House of CB’ dress and a $50 ‘Morgan & Taylor’ headband before entering the fitting-rooms.

Officers allege that the woman then concealed the items and left the store, making no attempt to pay for the items.

They would like to speak to the woman pictured above as part of their investigation.

It’s not just dresses that have been allegedly going missing from retailers. Police are investigating claims that perfumes have been disappearing too.

Officers allege that around 4pm on August 1 four men stole a bottle of fragrance from a Hope Island Road, Helensvale chemist.

Later that day, around 5.15pm, the same four men, this time with a fifth man in tow, attended another branch of the chemist at Ormeau and allegedly stole four fragrances.

Around 2pm the next day, two men attended the Hope Island Road business and allegedly stole another fragrance.

Police hope the two men pictured above can help them with their inquiries into the incidents.
