Police have been called to a Gold Coast sports club on Tuesday night following a disturbance in the carpark.
Witnesses reported two men were having a heated exchange outside Club Helensvale about 7pm when it’s understood the confrontation turned physical and a punch was thrown.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman told the Bulletin officers “attended the Discovery Drive business where they spoke to a man”.
“He did not want to make a statement or a complaint to police.”
It’s unknown whether anyone was injured during the confrontation.
A spokesman for Club Helensvale said it was aware of the incident.
Police are not further investigating matter.
