A Pimpama man has been charged after allegedly flashing a child while at a northern Gold Coast shopping centre on Monday.
It is alleged the 11-year-old girl and her mother were shopping at Pimpama Junction Shopping Centre on Monday afternoon when the 64-year-old exposed himself to the child.
Police were called and the man, who was wearing rugby shorts and sunglasses, was found.
He has been charged with indecent act in a public place and indecent treatment of a child under 12.
The man is scheduled to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on February 13.
Police are investigating if the incident is linked to other reports of a similar nature.
