Pedro Santos’ family concerned after he goes missing from Mermaid Waters, Gold Coast home

The family of a 79-year-old man had concerns for his welfare after he went missing from his Mermaid Waters home on Tuesday morning.

The family of a 79-year-old man had concerns for his welfare after he went missing from his Mermaid Waters home on Tuesday morning.

Police conducted foot patrols in the area trying to find Pedro Santos.

At around 10pm Gold Coast police released a statement saying he was found safe and well.

Mr Santos was last seen at a Timana Ave home about 9am on Tuesday morning.

He was wearing a blue T-shirt, black shorts, grey running shows and possibly a grey cap.

He is described as 150cm tall with a thin build, olive complexion, brown hair and eyes.

Mr Santos’s family and police were concerned for his welfare as he has a medical condition and could have been disoriented or confused.

Police thanked the public for their help.
