Three people have been hospitalised and a person cut free from their car following a two-vehicle crash on the Gold Coast.
A Queensland Fire Department (QFD) spokesman said emergency services were called to the incident on Cotlew St near Yangoora Crescent, Ashmore about 8.50am on Thursday.
One person was trapped in their vehicle with firefighters using hydraulic equipment to cut the car, the QFD spokesman said.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics assessed six patients at the scene.
Two adults and a child were taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions - their injuries were believed to be minor.
The crash had affected traffic in both directions on Cotlew St outside the Ashmore Tavern.
Those delays had cleared by about 10am.
