Lisa Eve Hartley: Charge dropped against woman who allegedly confronted Miss World Australia and Top Model contestants on Gold Coast

A woman charged over an alleged incident at a Gold Coast shopping centre involving Miss World Australia and a group of aspiring models has had a development in court. WHAT’S NEXT

A woman allegedly involved in an incident with reigning Miss World Australia and a group of young models has had a public nuisance charged dropped.

It was previously reported that police were called to the Southport Park Shopping Centre after a group, including reigning Miss World Australia Jasmine Stringer and Top Model Australia contestants, said they were confronted by a woman.

Police located a 46-year-old woman outside the centre and she was given a notice to appear for commit public nuisance.

Lisa Eve Hartley, 46, was due to appear at Southport Magistrates Court on Thursday for one count of public nuisance charge relating to the May 17 incident.

However the charge was dropped after prosecution said they couldn’t offer any evidence.

Ms Hartley is due to reappear on June 25 separately charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm and one common assault, also on May 17 at Southport.
