Police are searching for a man who has been seen running around the Gold Coast CBD “screaming”.
Shortly after 10.30 on Tuesday, three police officers were combing alleyways and parking garages around the Seabank building in Southport and asking people if they had seen a man and to be wary.
A witness told the Bulletin she had seen a man standing on an electricity box up against the Seabank building on Short St, Southport.
“He jumped off and ran away screaming,” she said.
It is understood the man may have escaped from a Gold Coast Hospital.
The Bulletin saw multiple police in Southport looking for the man.
A Queensland Police Media spokesman said there was no information available at this stage.
