Police are hunting for a man who used a knife to rob a Gold Coast petrol station.
Gold Coast police were called to a petrol station along Ferry Road on October 27 at 1.30am after a man had threatened an employee with a knife.
A spokesman said the man had jumped over the counter and confronted the employee while demanding cash from two tills.
The employee handed over the cash before the man leapt over the counter and fled the petrol station on foot.
Video footage which police released show the man wearing grey trackpants, a black cap and black hoodie which was pulled over his head.
He also had orange/red tradie gloves and black socks.
He was described as 175cm tall with an average build.
Police are urging anyone who may know someone who fits the description or has further information to contact police.
