Bystanders stop drivers after car crashes into Reedy Creek home

A bystander has stopped a rogue driver who left his car after he crashed into a southern Gold Coast home. Find out more.

A bystander has stopped a rogue driver who left his car after he crashed into a southern Gold Coast home.

Police were called to a Royston Cres, Reedy Creek home just after 1pm on Thursday after reports a car had crashed into a property.

When they arrived a member of the public told police they had stopped the driver down the road, a Queensland Police spokeswoman said.

Pictures from the scene show a four-wheel drive with a damaged wheel.

The home also had a visible crack on it’s wall.

Police are now talking to the driver.

Investigations are continuing.
