The Gold Coast Bulletin will take its coverage of Gold Coast District Rugby Union to the next level with the launch of a dedicated video livestream of the first grade competition.
Each Saturday from this weekend until Grand Final day the Bulletin will broadcast a live feed of the week’s Match of the Round, bringing fans even closer to the action as the season approaches the pointy end.
STREAM EVERY MATCH OF THE ROUND UNTIL GRAND FINAL FOR JUST $12
The livestream season will kick off on Saturday with a blockbuster Grand Final rematch between arch rivals Helensvale Hogs and Griffith University Colleges Knights.
Gold Coast District Rugby Union senior competition co-ordinator Kristy Smith said bringing a livestream to the Coast rugby community was an exciting development for the competition.
“The commencement of livestreaming is very exciting to the GCDRU as we have not had the ability to provide the service in 2020,” Smith said.
“With the continuing engagement seen on social media platforms this opportunity comes at a great time in our game as we are about to head into the second half of the season’s competition.
“It will be great to highlight some of the big matches as we close in on finding our 2020 Champions.”

The first livestreamed clash between Hogs and Knights has been more than a year in the making after COVID-19 delayed the start of the season and a controversial washout wiped out their scheduled Round One rematch.
The Knights are undefeated through six games with an average winning margin of 36.5 points per game.
Nipping at their heels are the Hogs, who have climbed to second on the ladder with four wins and two losses.
Tune in from 3pm Saturday at the Gold Coast Bulletin website to stream.
