The family of Gold Coast footballer Dallas Bain have called for community assistance to contribute to the costs of farewelling their beloved brother and son.
A GoFundMe crowdsourcing page has been established to help ease the financial burden on the grieving family ahead of Saturday’s commemorative service at Parkwood Sharks rugby league club.
In one day since the campaign’s launch, more than 100 people have raised 85 per cent of the family’s $10,000 goal.
