Friends and family of Dallas Bain have been invited to celebrate his memory with a commemorative service and afternoon of touch football at Parkwood Sharks rugby league club this Saturday.

The 21-year-old was a talented athlete on the rugby league and touch football fields before his untimely passing late on Friday evening.

In the spirit of his greatest passion, wellwishers have been asked to don bright touch football singlets as they pay their respects to a popular young man taken far too soon.

“Join us for a day of colour this Saturday, to celebrate the magnificent spirit and character of Dallas,” his sister Rachel said.

“Bring your boots for an afternoon of touch or simply come down and share your memories with us.

“If anyone has photos to share, we would love you to bring them along for display.

“Please wear your brightest touch singlet in honour of our favourite carver! We know this will be a day Dallas would love.”

The commemorative service will begin on the grounds of the Parkwood Sharks rugby league club at 2pm on Saturday January 11th.

The Bain family has advised wellwishers to wear colourful singlets and to bring their own chairs, if required.
