Nick Kyrgios’ ex Chiara Passari accuses Brittany Hockley of breaking the “girl code”

A war of words has broken out between Nick Kyrgios’ ex and Brittany Hockley, after the latter hosted the Aussie ace on her podcast.

An Instagram feud has broken out between former tennis WAGs over Nick Kyrgios.

In a heated exchange on the social media platform, Kyrgios’ ex-girlfriend Chiara Passari accused podcaster Brittany Hockley — who dated fellow Aussie player Jordan Thompson — of breaking the “girl code”.

Passari, whose tumultuous relationship with Kyrgios came to an end last year when she publicly shared private messages of what she claimed was poor behaviour from the Aussie ace, said Hockley had turned a blind eye to how she was treated.

The model unleashed on Hockley for heaping praise on Kyrgios after he appeared on her podcast, Life Uncut, which she co-hosts with fellow The Bachelor alum Laura Byrne.

While Hockley and Thompson are believed to have split, she spent much of 2021 travelling on the circuit with him around the world.

“You were there alongside us most of the travels and only had interests in connecting with the famous people, you know how Nick really was but you still acted blind towards it in hopes to climb to the top,” Passari commented on Hockley’s post.

“Nick did and said ALL the exact same things in the first months of being with me too. Saying ‘I was the one’, ‘it was love at first sight’ when we first met.

Passari was referring to Kyrgios’ remarks on the podcast that his new girlfriend, Costeen Hatzi, was “the one”.

Attempting to defuse the tension, Hockley responded by telling Passari she didn’t want to have “a public conversation” about it.

“I’m confused, This has nothing to do with your relationship? I am sorry it didn’t work out with you. But I was there with my boyfriend, and in turn his friends and colleagues,” she replied.

“You know what you’ve just said about me is not true. You don’t know me so you cannot make this claim. We both know this to be true.

“I’m not disputing what he did or didn’t say about you either. This interview didn’t have anything to do with you. I am genuinely sorry you were so hurt in your relationship but please don’t bring me into this and make nasty claims about me when it has nothing to do with me. X”

Hockley’s response did little to appease Passari, who instead doubled down on her claims against the podcaster.

“I didn’t say it had anything to do with my relationship. I do know you and what I said was true from what I saw,” she wrote.

“Just saying if you had any girl code you wouldn’t be sticking up or having someone like him on your podcast when you saw FIRST HAND how he was.”

In December, Passari — who dated Kyrgios for about 18 months — described his behaviour during their relationship as “manipulative”.

The couple split after arguing in an Adelaide hotel room in November, after returning from the overseas tennis tour. They were put in separate rooms at their quarantine hotel when South Australia police were alerted to a verbal argument between two occupants.

It came after Passari shared an image of Kyrgios in bed with a “naked girl” on Instagram and accused him of cheating on her.

Passari, who at the time was still sharing a room with Kyrgios, shared an image she claimed was of Kyrgios and another woman after a night out at a Melbourne nightclub.

In another post on her Instagram story, Passari posted a screenshot of an apparent text exchange between her and Kyrgios.

In the exchange, Kyrgios said he “didn’t do anything”.

Passari captioned the Instagram story: “Guys he didn’t know he had a girl in his bed!! He was sleeping. Never heard of sleep cheating before.”

In a further post from Passari appearing to show more messages between herself and Kyrgios, the tennis player writes “you are toxic” and “shut your mouth and leave me alone”.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph after their break-up, she said Kyrgios “love-bombed” her “for the first three months”.

She also described him as “manipulative” and said he was looking for cracks in their relationship “to use against me” to justify ending their relationship.
