THE Southport School’s rampaging start to the GPS First XV rugby season has continued after putting Toowoomba Grammar School to the sword this afternoon.
Coming off wins over defending champions Nudgee College (21-20), Churchie (64-7) and Brisbane State High (52-7), TSS flexed their title muscle once more in Toowoomba en route to a 65-3 rout.
COAST STARS GIVEN CHANCE TO PUSH REP CASE
Flyhalf Syris Schmidt, lock Marlon Jones, and captain and prop Zane Nonggorr were prominent for the visitors, who finished premiership runners up last season.
JoJo Fifita, Dion Samuela and Hamish Roberts each bagged doubles.
TSS, who won the 2017 First XV crown, host Brisbane Grammar School in Round 5 next Saturday.
