Having returned to Australia following a US stint with Washington Spirit, McElligott made an immediate impact at new club Gold Coast United, scoring 31 goals in 17 games.

The 22-year-old striker from Varsity Lakes then switched to Moreton Bay, where she has bagged 18 goals in seven appearances.

The heart and soul of the Knights defence, Murphy has helped the newly-crowned champions concede just 15 goals in 17 league fixtures.

At just 22, he and 19-year-old Oskar Dillon could form a long-term partnership at the back for the Knights, who will be desperate to secure the title double next month.
